Paul Hale | Chief Executive Officer


Paul founded SpectraCorp in 1991 to serve the telecommunications needs of the healthcare, hospitality and higher education markets. As the company grew and evolved to focus exclusively on the healthcare market, Paul’s primary area of interest has been cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients. By building these relationships, serving as advocates for customers and, of course, providing real ROI to healthcare enterprises, Paul and his team at SpectraCorp enjoy annual customer retention rates above 98%.

Prior to founding SpectraCorp, Paul worked for MCI Telecommunications, performing successfully at the company’s Tulsa and Dallas operations. His tenure at MCI provided Paul with the foundational knowledge and entrepreneurial vision that led to SpectraCorp.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Paul graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Business Administration in 1982.




Lisa Medina | VP Operations


Lisa Medina is an experienced operations leader and has worked with SpectraCorp for 3 years. She was hired as the Director of Operations and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in November of 2017. Lisa is a trusted leadership partner with over 25 years of telecom experience. During her previous 17-year tenure with ILD Corp, she served in various managerial roles that allowed her to gain broad business knowledge and provide expert guidance to key stakeholders to support enterprise level business initiatives.

Combining her diverse operations and leadership experience, Lisa’s dedication to continuous improvement is evident at SpectraCorp. She is consistently committed to developing innovative solutions to streamline and automate processes. Lisa collaborates regularly with other departments, while empowering and managing a high-performing operations team.




Tammy Ellington | Director of Finance


Tammy Ellington is an experienced leader who joined SpectraCorp in December 2018 as the Director of Finance and Accounting. Tammy brings 20 years of leadership to her position at SpectraCorp and 15 years of experience working in the telecom industry. Prior to joining SpectraCorp, she worked for several years as an Independent Business Consultant for a diverse range of customers. Prior to that, Tammy worked for RSW Group, a AT&T retailer, for 15 years holding several positions including Corporate Controller, and Director of IT and Real Estate supporting projects for a Fortune 100 Customer base.

Tammy has extensive experience building Accounting departments and teams from the ground up, establishing business processes and standard operating procedures. With SpectraCorp’s continuous growth, Tammy will ensure effective financial controls are in place to guarantee fiscal responsibility and accountability for the entire organization.

Tammy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.




Tom Hurt | Technical Services Manager


Tom joined SpectraCorp in 2009 with a combination of a Technical and Telecom background. His previous leadership included working for Intercall for 15 years as a Sr. Account Manager. Tom has also worked as a Software Engineer and Systems Manager.

Before being promoted in to Technical Sales Manager in May 2014, Tom served as an Account Manager for SpectraCorp. The combination of Tom’s technical expertise and relationship management experience makes him a key business liaison for the Sales team and enables him to take on supporting larger and more complex hospital systems as clients.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Art, Computer Science/Mathematics degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX.




Gladys Calderon | Manager of Language Access Services


Gladys Calderon has been with SpectraCorp for 3 years, initially hired as a Data Analyst and was quickly promoted to Manager of Language Access Services in October of 2018. Her previous leadership experience includes an 11-year tenure with CK Management where she held various roles including Director of Customer Service, Staff Accountant and Sales & Project Support Specialist.

Gladys’ technical and analytical background, in addition to being bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) allows her to be innovative in delivering customer solutions as she continues to enhance and foster new relationships for the Language Access Services team.

Gladys obtained her Associates degree from Collin College in Business and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology at the University of Texas at Dallas.




Mark Foght | Network Equipment Specialist


Mark Foght joined SpectraCorp in April 2018 as a Network Equipment Specialist to work with our Sales team on equipment funding opportunities. He brings over 20 years of experience from the IT industry and has previously worked for Nortel as a Sales Engineering Manager and Project Manager and as a Professional Service Manager at Calient Technologies.

Mark’s technical background combined with his ability to provide project level solutions has made him a valuable asset to SpectraCorp. Mark has been instrumental in the roll out of SpectraCorp’ s equipment subsidy process. To date he has managed over 75 equipment subsidies projects for our larger and more complex hospital systems.

Mark received his Bachelors of Electrical Engineering degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
